Well, there is a silver lining to all the hard word I put in over the last. Despite being rejected from Harvard last week, I found out this morning that I passed the CFA Level I examination.
Validation.
Success.
And even though I'm not going to do Level II this spring (new job, too much going on), it still gives me hope in an otherwise bleak world. I can do it. I can do anything! (well...you know what I mean. haha)

Congrats! That is a tough nut to crack... Hope your remaining apps and Level 2 (when you go up against it) go as well!
I found passing L1 and carrying on to do L2 in the following summer quite a good move. L2 builds on L1 alot, but given the economy I guess your focus has to be the job. Congrats on the pass.

thanks for the love, peeps. :-)
No problem, did you sign up for level 2?
Nope. I am doing Level II next spring, since I just started a new job. Plus I was burned out from 2007-2008. I did an accounting course in fall 07, CFA prep TWICE (June and Dec), GMAT course, GMAT exam (twice), apps to three schools.
My head was throbbing. Needed to step back a bit. ;-)
